INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION, 2017

On 8th of March every year is set aside by United Nation (UN) as international Women’s Day, an annual event aimed at promoting women rights, gender equality, and protection against discrimination, violence and women participation in Nation building. Sapphire Initiative for Girl Child Literacy and Empowerment (SIGCLE) in partnership with Family Life and Community Health Society (FLACHS) organized a one day program at the POWA PLAZA Mararaba road, Nasarawa State in celebration of the women’s day and the theme for this year’s celebration was #BE BOLD FOR CHANGE, with over 500 participants.
